Among adults aged 65 to 74, 26 percent have lost all their natural teeth and therefore need full dentures to restore appearance, function, health and comfort. Today, with the help of implants, full dentures can be stabilized nicely so that the discomfort and embarrassment of loose teeth is eliminated. Dentures replace not only the teeth but also the soft tissue and facial support that may have been lost by years of bone resorption. Dr. Marmur uses a technique that results in a physiologic, balanced prosthesis which looks natural, feels comfortable and functions well.

In the photos below, the typical problem with old, worn out dentures can be seen, that is, a “reverse smile”, and the back teeth dropped down appearing longer than the front teeth. With an esthetic denture, the smile line is recreated to be in harmony with the lips and muscles resulting in a more youthful appearance.
